Last weekend we went to the Shrine at La Salette, Eva's first trip there, and enjoyed the lights as well as the dining hall :)
This weekend we picked out our tree-the perfect tree takes a while to find, of course.
But with the kids helping, we prevailed.

I've never been to cut my own tree, what fun that must be. Wow, so many choices! It looks like fun.

Absolutly love it - we used to go back on the farm and cut one every year...maybe next year for a 'change of pace'!!

Catching up here. It looks like things are going pretty well. How exciting about your writing. Hope that you can decide on a good treatment for Eva. We really should try to meet. It would be fun for Joshua. Is Eva still speaking any Mandarin?

Hi Jennifer!
Maybe we can meet over the holiday break? Eva speaks both languages right now. She learns a few English words each week and communicates with those that she knows as well as gestures but will still talk in Mandarin when playing alone and sometimes when talking to me.
