Gentle Years

We learned today that another grandchild is on the way, either in late October or early November, so RB will have a playmate and Christmas is going to be super sweet, with three little cousins and, hopefully, a little aunt or uncle from East Asia!  Originally I was worried about our adopted child needing a sibling, but now I think he or she will have so much company it might not be necessary.

 It is February and Tet is over, marking a new year both here and in China. After more than two years of waiting, I feel hopeful that our time is drawing close and that by summer we will have a referral for our first adopted child.
